 Hi, My name is Marisa, and I have been with the Massage Envy brand since 2012. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago splitting my time between my parents in Downers Grove and Naperville. Right out of highschool I began my Massage Envy journey, and what I thought was just going to be a summer job turned into a lifelong career. I attended the College of Dupage and received an Associates Degree in Business Management. When deciding whether I would continue my schooling, I was offered a management opportunity with Massage Envy. I took it and never looked back. I have worked my way from Frontdesk, to Junior Manager, to Assistant Manager, to Clinic Manager, and even Multi-Unit Management in my tenure. Moving away from work, my family is 100% Greek, and I am the first generation in the US. If you've seen “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” you basically have the blueprints to my life (being one of the first in my family to marry a *non Greek* *cue the gasps*). I am happily married to my husband Dan, who actually ALSO works for Massage Envy, and we have 2 amazing Schipperke Dogs named Arya and Nemo. I have an amazing friend group who are my biggest supporters, and most whom I've had in my life for over 20+ years. When I'm outside of work, I'm an enthusiastic movie goer (give me a super scary horror movie, a classic comedy, or a fantastical fantasy), a passionate new restaurant tryer-outer (yes, I will take time to rate my food), a devoted traveler (my mom being in the travel business for 30 years, I caught the bug), and an avid reader 

 Hi, My name is Matty. I have been with Massage Envy on and off for the last 12 years. I grew up in Blue Island, a south suburb of Chicago, but have recently relocated to Elk Grove Village.

I started with Massage Envy because of my sister who is a Massage Therapist (and still is with the brand to this day). I attended college briefly and was on a track for a degree in the arts, but the wellness industry pulled me back in. After being with Massage Envy for about 5 years, I ended up taking up an offer to leave the brand and work for our competitors.

There I worked my way up from Shift Lead, to Retention Coordinator, to eventually landing on Sales Manager. In the Summer of 2022, I unfortunately lost one of my dear friends who I had made during my tenure with Massage Envy who was also a Massage Therapist. This really opened my eyes to the example of how we help others so much in the wellness industry, and how it can be quickly applied to our real everyday lives. After taking a much needed sabbatical, I happened to see that a Massage Envy was hiring again, and found my way back.

When I am not at work, I am spending all my time with my 100 pound soulmate black lab Hank, who is truly my whole world. We love to take long walks, listening to music together, and he helps inspire my writing in my journal by just having his big eyes staring at me. My family is a dynamic bunch with many strong females who helped shape me, especially my mom, my aunt and my mema (grandma) into who I am today.
