My name is Lori Ferguson. I am a proud mother of 2 beautiful children and 8 grandchildren. (Fun Fact...I have a twin sister, and we were born on our mother's 24th birthday.) I was born and raised in Middle Point, Ohio, home of the Lincolnview Lancers. After high school, I started working at Aeroquip Corp., where my father also worked. I moved up to the machining department and then took a job at Crown Lift Trucks in New Bremen, Ohio, operating larger CNC machines. I volunteered with the safety team, promoting workplace safety, but I eventually aggravated an old back injury. This led to physical therapy and a diagnosis of a birth defect shared with my twin sister. My younger sister and I enrolled at the Institute of Therapeutic Massage (IoTM) in Lima, Ohio. While at a county fair, I reconnected with an old schoolmate, Mike Ferguson; we began dating and later got married. After graduation, my kids and I moved to Michigan, where I applied for my first massage position at Massage Envy in Rochester Hills. I loved my work and enjoyed seeing clients' happy faces after their massages. When a new Massage Envy location opened in Troy, I became the lead therapist, training new hires. I eventually rose through the ranks to become the general manager at the Troy and Birmingham locations. Today, I mentor licensed massage therapists who share my passion for helping others, and I continue to see the joy on clients' faces after their sessions.
